Earthquakes, which are caused by cracks in the earth's crust, are a type of natural disaster that can result in loss of life and property as well as economic damage. Earthquakes also induce ground surface displacements. In Turkey, the North Anatolian Fault Line, the East Anatolian Fault Line, and the West Anatolian Fault Line all experience continuous ground movements. The displacement caused by the earthquake that struck the Elazig-Sivrice region on the Eastern Anatolian fault line on January 24, 2020 was calculated using D-Insar (Differential Interferometric Sytntethic Apeture Radar) and SBAS (Sort Baseline Subsets) methods using Radar data from the Sentinel-1 satellite. compared and computed.
